Just finished my second last date on the 2019 Traveling Medicine Show Tour , the Broadway Street Fair. It was a great time, the weather was awesome and there were an amazing amount of people who attended.

What I really enjoyed was seeing all the people, saw a lot of old friends and made a lot of new ones. I’m always amazed at how nice people are to me, music has got to be one of the best social lubricants I know of. Music has opened so many doors and initiated many relationships that would never have happened without it.
The Broadway Street Fair is a great event, and I am humbled that Im asked to participate each year. Events like this are complex logistically , and it takes a lot of work to run one successfully. The variety of vendors, the food trucks, dancers , drummers, are always 1st rate ~ That does not happen without a lot of work,so if you see DeeAnn Mercier the executive director or Tom Waldron, tell them what a great job their doing.
The only negative is the Broadway Street Fair usually marks the end of summer, which makes me kind of sad because now I have to move indoors because those winter winds are coming.
The Traveling Medicine Show one last tour date to play, and It will be on Sept 26. 2019 at the Light House. I am both nervous and excited to perform this one as there will be a lot of friends there who haven’t seen me perform.
That will be the last tour date of the Tour, but I’m considering taking the whole dog and pony show East next year.
Anyway I’ll keep you posted, ( if we survive the coming election), Is it just me or are the inmates running the asylum?
